Activity #4: Twitter

Since we started this Web 2.0 I have been hearing about Twittering everywhere. Some of the stores like VanHeusen are now telling us to check them out on Twitter. I posted the following tweet: MMSCL I am currently reading the book, My Sister's Keeper. I am planning on seeing the movie when it is released in June. I know the "Try It Out" says to start a twitter account, but since I know I will never use it I am not going to do that.

Activity #8 YouTube

I have visited YouTube many times. It's a good place to visit when you need a good laugh at some of the many funny videos. I have checked out some musical performers using this site. I find this site very easy to navigate. I think YouTube could be used by the Library to show off some of our programs (I don't know how that works legally with getting permission to post on the internet). If we had videos of some of our programs, we could use them to advertise future programming. We could post a video with a tour of our Library building and all that is offered. I have embedded my video choice which I chose because I also have a Westie who turns her head the same way as on this video.

I have finally joined the rest of our Library world!
